Mindfulness Movements

A gentle, calming session for your mind and body.  These sessions provide a sanctuary of peace and relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. Through gentle movements, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices, Lisa guides participants on a journey of self-discovery and inner peace.

Tuesdays 2:15pm-3:15pm

Fee: £3 -no one turned away if you can't pay. Just come along.

Your mind matters just as much as your body

According to NHS England and Age UK, nearly 8 million people over 55 in the UK have experienced depression yet many never seek help. This session is a safe, judgement-free space where you can start to feel better, one breath at a time.

You don't need to be fit, flexible or experienced

Whether you have never tried mindfulness before or you simply need a moment of calm in your week this class is for you. Come as you are. Everything is adapted to your ability.

Meet Lisa — your Mindful Movements guide

Our sessions are led by the wonderful Lisa, a warm and experienced mindfulness practitioner who creates a safe, calm and welcoming space every week. Lisa adapts every session to the group — no pressure, no judgement, just gentle guidance at a pace that works for you.

All of our over 50’s activities are located in South Manchester,
Levenshulme, Longsight, Gorton and are easily accessible by bus.

Our activities are created by older people, for older people.
